ISQOLS Guest Blogger Guidelines:

ISQOLS welcomes guest bloggers to write on topics related to Quality-of-Life, Happiness, and Well-being research and studies.

 

All Blogs Must fit the following guidelines:

Authors must be ISQOLS active members.

Blogs must contain original concepts, compelling arguments, and high-quality writing.

Blogs must contain relevant, recent examples, original quotes, original graphics, and current data.

Blog reflects the writing style/tone of ISQOLS mission.

Proper attribution of data, quotations, and outside content referenced in the article.

No more than one link to your company’s or organization’s website in the body of the post.

Article word limit 1000.

Must address a topic related to Quality-of-Life, Happiness, Well-being studies and research.

Blogs can be summaries of longer published articles (such as an abstract form, etc.), however, the blog should contain some additional details or relevant discussion questions.

Graphic blogs that rely heavily on infographic or powerpoint created by the author should feature up-to-date data that’s properly sourced.

 

Not accepted:

Anything that may be construed as a link-building scheme.

Anything that’s too promotional for your company or organization, nor press-releases for other events.

Anything that’s offensive or inaccurate.

Anything that’s overly critical of individuals or companies — this is not a site to air grievances.

 

How to Submit Your Post

Please email office [at] isqols [dot] org (office@isqols.dreamhosters.com) with the following:

  • Your completed post as an HTML file or Word Doc.
  • Image files (with attribution)
  • Short author bio with image. (you may include a maximum of one anchor text link to your own website.)

If your article meets editorial standards and aligns with our content strategy, we will respond to let you know your article will be published. That process may take a few weeks. ISQOLS reserves the right to edit and adapt your guest blog content as we see fit, and update it in the future for accuracy and comprehensiveness. ISQOLS reserves the right to decline to publish a submitted blog for any reason, including duplication of recent topics, the need for significant rewrites, pieces that are self-promotional, pieces that are discriminatory or offensive, or if the topic doesn’t fit with our needs.
